RULES:

1.No double posting
2.No slow posting also, if he doesn't post in the topic within two days, his or her turn will be skipped.
3.Wrong grammars are tolerated so don't worry that's why we're beginner friendly
4.No godmodding also
5.In choosing your starting pokemon, you can choose anything except for legendaries and rares. Also, shiny starters are not allowed since we're not taming shiny pokemons here. Also all starter pokemons start in level 1 with the base stats of:
HP:10
ATK:5
DEF:5
SP.ATK:5
SP.ATK:5
SPEED:5

GUIDE:

BATTLE GUIDE:
The battle is just like on the game but there is some twist. You can choose any pokemon to use in your party unlike the game, it automatically uses the party leader. That's the only twist.

Post 1(You):

Pokemon:

Post 2(Me or another player):
(bla bla bla random things again)
Wild Pokemon:

Both of the two will get 3 dmg from each other due to calculations then the battle goes on.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER!
The speed determines which pokemon attacks first!
For the calculation, if you want to do the calculation by yourself. the formula can be found here (remove the modifier part)
When the pokemon got hit by its weakness, the damage will be doubled.
When the pokemon got hit by its element that he is strong against, the damage will cut into half.
When the pokemon is immune to that element, no damage is done.

CATCHING POKEMON:
When catching pokemon, the following pokeball has a base catch rate of:

Pokeball - 25% (5% if a legendary/rare pokemon)
Great Ball - 50% (10% if a legendary/rare pokemon)
Ultra Ball - 75% (15% if a legendary/rare pokemon)
Master Ball - 100% (doesn't change because of the fact that it can catch any kind of pokemon)

Also the catch rate rises on the following events:

If the pokemon is paralyzed,sleeping,or confused. The catch rate rises up to 10%

If the pokemon has the ailment of burn,freeze,or poison. The catch rate rises up to 5%

If the pokemon is on yellow health, the catch rate will increase by 25%(10% if legendary/rare pokemon)

If the pokemon is on red health, it'll automatically go to 100% (20% if legendary/rare pokemon)

When a Pokemon Levels up:
In the game, the nature determines the stat build of the pokemon but here, you are free distribute stat points to the pokemon. Every time a pokemon levels up you are free to distribute 4 points to the stats and the health will automatically increase by two but you can still add a stat point to the health if you want to.

Finding Item Balls:
To find a item ball you have to randomize it. There's always a 50% chance to find a item ball.

1-5 = no item ball found
6-10 = item ball found

after that it's not done yet. You're still going to randomize what's inside the ball.

1-2 = Potion
3-4 = Pokeball
5-6 = Healing Stuff of your choice
7-8 = Pokeball of your choice (except Master Ball)
8-9 = an evolution stone of your choice
10 = a berry of your choice
